A really good day out. Visiting Walsall was possibly one of the simplest stadiums to get to. After exiting the M6, a very straight forward direct route to the ground, which is situated adjacent to the M6.
The view from the outside of the ground looked a little dated, but generally in good condition. There is on site parking costing £7 on the day which is right next to the stadium.
The club shop was fantastic, full of lots of different collectible affordable merchandise, with retro jersey’s, a really well set out club shop.
There was a bit of confusion with accessing the hub, and the stewards weren’t entirely helpful on how to access it either, which was confusing for me because they work there.
Anyhow, toilets weren’t great. Two portaloo’s at the bottom of the Tile Choice Stand. Literally peeing in the dark.
Food was decent, and the prices were reasonable. Not overpriced like a lot of other sports ground. Cold and warm drinks are available. Also there was a guy outside with a couple of kegs and taps selling Madri and something else, really quick and efficient way of getting a pint quickly.
There was a police presence at the stadium prior to kick off. Although there was no trouble throughout the match.
The atmosphere was quiet throughout from both sets of fans to be fair. It only really picked up after the red card. But was still quite quiet, 5 goals were scored too.
All in all, an good day, nothing particularly stood out for the ground, but it certainly had a nice family feel to the club.
Only opened one turnstile lucky to see kick off poor planing they knew how many tickets had been sold.
Shame about the result. Plenty of street parking around the stadium or go in on the train. There's no cash in the stadium so make sure that you have your card. The food seemed to be hit and miss for many people with long waits. Not many places for food in the away end. View is badly obscured by posts in all except the new stand. Seen better pitches in parks.
Visited the ground for the Grimsby match (27/08/22), ground is good and has plenty of parking available around for £5. Inside the away end there are 2 bars available serving food, drink and snacks. Seating was allocated on the visit The …
Great ground with OK Pie and beer. Enjoyed the pre match music. Staff were friendly. Excellently observed minutes silence 👏 …
Nice friendly football club. Had tickets for the box for the day, was a very pleasant experience. Watched the game against Burton Albion, 2 good footballing sides. The staff were very good. Had dinner before the game (Carvery), the quality …
Lovely young lady who works in the Saddlers shop was very helpful, she managed to find the item we where after, did want to purchase a pint glass also but was out of stock, so settled for a mug.Nice one though. Thank you young lady.
Pleasant experience treated well by friendly staff great view 👌 …
Attended for a conference in one of the suites. Reasonable facilities, albeit a bit dated.
Decent little ground if you make sure to avoid the food at the ground. McDonald's is only a 5-10 min walk if you choose not to have the food. Other than that pretty good and we have a few local celebrities such as Simon Ward (aka walsall fan tv)
